Hello! My name is Shannon and I am a book cover designer and publishing professional with nearly a decade of industry experience. I currently work at Cranthorpe Millner Publishers, where I have spent more than five years crafting distinctive, genre‑driven covers that help authors bring their stories to life.

My passion for design began as a young teen, when you'd often find me creating covers for writers in Wattpad forums. That early love of storytelling and visual creativity has grown into a career dedicated to helping authors shape the first impression of their books (and yes, I do encourage judging a book by it's cover!).

Whilst I most enjoy fantasy and romance, I have experience working on various other genres including thrillers, literary fiction and middle grade. I believe a great cover is both an invitation and a promise, and work closely with authors to ensure their vision shines through.

 

When I'm not designing or reading, I can usually be found in the garden, nurturing the same sense of creativity and calm that fuels my work.
